So it’s a gift for my dad and haven’t gave it to him yet but we FaceTime and he loved it … I was so worried about ordering here cuz never heard of the company but I’m so glad I did and it came out perfect perfect perfect.

Super happy how print came out, but looks a little less vibrant even after just a cool water quick wash. Still nice looking, but would have preferred the vibrancy to have remained.

There are 500 butterfly species in America with 300 having been seen in the lower Rio Grande valley which is on the migration route followed by some species. The butterflys life cycle consist of four parts: egg, larva, pupa and adult.
I wonder if this might be a moth instead of a butterfly? I heard there were 7,000 different moths. Think I will stick to trying to learn all the birds!

Welcome to my gallery. I am an artist who travels in the southwestern USA, and many of my paintings are from the lovely places we visit. My love is oil painting, and I do this in our RV motor home that we live and travel in. We have been traveling and going to different parts of the southwest for 22 years where I spend much time just observing nature. I hope that you will enjoy my photos and paintings. Please share my work with others. I have a deep passion for capturing images of birds in their natural environmental settings. Many of my photos you will see here were taken in our travels through out the USA and are used for my paintings. I have taught oil painting, water color painting, water color with gouache painting,...

What a gorgeous photograph! Could this be a Skipper butterfly?

Thanks Carol. I really think it is a day flying moth rather than a butterfly. He has a bit of fuzzy on him. I did a bit of research (quickly) trying to decide if he was one of the 600 butterflies here or one of the thousands of moths. Bit overwhelming. I did learn that typically butterflies fly in the day and moths at night....but some moths fly i the day too.

Funny John. I agree and they fly like flying saucers!
