Competitive Edge metal print by Hanne Lore Koehler. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Artist's Description
You may be interested to know that, true to traditional watercolor techniques, this light-filled snow spray watercolor of a ski racer was painted without the use of white paint. The white that you see is the white of the paper. Much thought and planning went into the execution of this painting. Much imagination, love and emotion went into its composition.
The triple challenge of man against man, man against the elements and man against himself trying to beat a personal record, is offered in Alpine (or downhill) competitive skiing action. Super giant slalom or Super-G is an Alpine skiing discipline. Along with the faster downhill it is regarded as a "speed" event, in contrast to the technical events giant slalom and slalom. To be victorious in Olympic Super-G and slalom racing is the ultimate goal. The focus in this watercolor painting is on the fervent skier as he carves the mountain with his edges to make tight turns - every 1/100th of a second counts.
