This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

I am very pleased with the quality of the product, and the gift recipient loved it and brought them to tears as it was a sentimental gift.

About Elizabeth McPhee
Photography was my childhood hobby. My interest reawakened when I inherited an old SLR. I rediscovered photography as an art form - using shape and form, texture, patterns and above all, the magic of light. Since then I have sought these elements in cityscapes, architecture, in man-made objects and nature, trying to capture them from a creative perspective. But my driving force is to see and capture the ordinary in a light that transforms it. As Henri Cartier-Bresson said:" It is not the subject matter that counts, it is the light." I find inspiration in the work of the masters and contemporary artists. Photographer's CV Exhibitions Solo exhibition, Barebones Art Space, Bangalow, NSW, Australia,...

A marvelous image... love the "screen" through which you shot the tops of these wonderful buildings. Great vantage point, from ground level to the clouds!
