Elizabeth, your artworks really are so amazing! Every time! And yet,I have to say,I wasn't expecting so much from this when I saw the thumbnail. Then I clicked on it and instantly I felt a "scarab" beetle in the center and then that changed to a cosmic butterfly, and then back to the beetle, and then both at once ! In fact I just had to race off to get my book of symbols. It says that "scarab" represents the sun, divine wisdom, resurrection, immortality ! I love how the lines draw the eye to the middle and out again and the way the brilliant pinks dissolve into the night-blue. I know your pictures would evoke a different experience in each viewer, but I think it would always be meditative and peaceful. Wonderful ! v/f

You are right, Jane... I didn't even notice the somewhat optical illusion effect here that you cannot see from the thumbnail, and how it changes based on your distance in viewing the image. The more I sit back, the more the line definition fades. You always help me see something more with your wonderful comments! =) Thank you so much!
