I purchased three of these notebooks for gifts and I am thrilled with the purchase. Everything about the notebook is quality- the paper, the reproduction of the print and the way they were bagged for shipping. I will be back to purchase more soon.

Great.
This monotone image was captured at Marina Grande, the local and ancient fishing port in Sorrento, Italy in February 2016. The image shows a boat making shop constructing, repairing, and restoring as it has for several hundred years.

I was born and raised in New England and met my Canadian wife of nearly 50 years now while traveling in Europe in '73. I have mostly lived in Canada since. I have been interested in photography since 1970 and had taken multitudes of pictures in the "film" age. After a time away from photography, I jumped in again in the early years of the "digital" age. I graduated from the New York Institute of Photography in 2007. Since, I spent a couple of years as a part time professional photographer, though I am moving away from working to return to my roots in outdoor photography as a life interest. I enjoy taking landscape, moving water, and nature images - and any other passing fancy moment that deserves to last. I love quiet wild spaces...

Wonderful capture of the darkest shadows inside the shop contrasting with brightest white door on the left, and the entire spectrum of greys and whites in between! Every aspect of the image retains its original detail, meaning and texture and the poetic reflection in the windows is a real bonus!
