I love this picture because, in one shot, it captures the wonderful things about Fayetteville. I also love the bright colors. I first saw it hanging in the conference room of the UA Industrial Engineering Department. I was told where to find it on-line and I ordered a larger version for my office in Fort Smith. The first time I ordered it I ordered the wrong version of it. I was really pleased to get to use the "destroy it and prove to us you did" feature instead of having to send the first picture back. I was more careful ordering it the second time and I love the picture I received. Thanks for a wonderful experience and a beautiful picture.

Very nice; dramatic. All the canvas prints I have gotten at FineArtAmerica have looked like originals. Looks just as pictured, even in one of the larger sizes (but did not get largest).

Artist's Description

I did this piece without the drips and splatters and left a fairly soft background. I did however get some bit of texture in the background. I poured and dripped some paint onto the canvas, let it freeze overnight so that it would crack and shrink, then I proceeded with the backgrouond colors. I think the texture left by the frozen paint works well.

I do occasionally work with oils, and just recently started working with water color and gouache. I attended culinary school in Dallas, Tx, then worked for a number of years as a chef in Dallas and then in Eureka Springs, Ar. There, in Arkansas, is where I really started to paint seriously. Though the sizes of my work varies, I...
