The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

If you're a fan of aviation history, you'll want a Profile of Convair's XB-58 "Hustler" for your collection, office, or aviation man cave.
In 1950 Consolidated Vultee (Convair), a division of General Dynamics, was contracted to develop a supersonic bomber that could reach targets 3,000 to 4,000 miles away. Most of us recall that Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier just three years before that. Convair was awarded a Phase-1 development contract in 1952 with a delta-winged, four-engine design designated B-58. The first B-58 to fly was the one featured in my detailed aircraft profile here. 55-0660, piloted by Convair's Chief Test Pilot B. A. Erikson, was the first B-58 to fly on 11-November-1956.
I've been many things. Forever a student. A USAF Security Specialist and Fire Team Leader. A career (now-retired) Police Officer. Husband and father. Now I can add aviation artist to my list. I've been an aviation enthusiast since childhood, and I create vivid, life-like artwork featuring military aircraft for people to enjoy. Please join me here and take home something special from my growing portfolio. You can also join me at my website (https://johnmatthews.com) and stay up-to-date on my latest projects. Safe skies! ~John
