This fine painting of the Tree of Life or ”Yggdrasil” as it is known in the old Nordic mythology - we live in the nordic part of Europe, in Sweden. When you look at this painting, many thougts comes to your mind.

When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it. Since it wasn't available in apparel or greeting card format, I bought it as a poster and bought a frame so I could hang it in my room. I had to crop the white border by hand, though. Easier said than done, believe me. But the results are worth it. Rarely have I seen such a splendid combination of innocence and female beauty.

Unfortunately this artwork remains rolled in the tube. The 36 x 35 enlargement I ordered had lost clarity and was too blurred to spend money on framing. It's a lovely piece - but stick with smaller sizes to retain clarity of original work.

In the interim, I kept busy taking things apart and putting them back together, including in the late 1970's the design and construction of a battery-operated automobile. Also, while in the Army I was a unit photographer, providing photo stories for The Wheel, a local military newspaper. My interest in the arts has since expanded beyond oils and photopgraphy, to include pen and ink and watercolour. My oil entitlted 60,000 Time to Change...
