"Corn Rows" by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan ... The end of the day at the farm... The corn stalks are young at the start of the summer, skies are golden after an afternoon shower at sunset. The barn is quiet, sheltered by the lone tree in the middle of the pasture. The fields of corn plants are planted in long rows that lead into the western skies, the last of the sun's light hidden behind the darkened barn. What a beautiful and peaceful scene in the rural countryside as crickets begin to chirp at the start of nightfall and birds quiet in the hush of evening....
