This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love this bag so much! It is well made; the image is sharp and the colors rich.
A sweet cotton-candy colored profusion of pink azalea blossoms captured at the Brighton Azalea Gardens in Montgomery County, Maryland. Situated on the banks of the Patuxent River, by Brighton Dam (built in 1942), the 5 acre garden has over 20,000 azaleas. Best time to visit is usually near the weekend of Mother's Day, and, to avoid the crowds, go during the week, rather than on Mother's Day itself.
An interesting bit of info about azaleas, which I certainly didn't know, is that in addition to being renowned for its beauty, the Azalea is also highly toxic - it contains andromedotoxins in both its leaves and nectar, including honey from the nectar. The Azalea and Rhododendron were once so infamous for their toxicity that to receive a bouquet of their flowers in a black vase was a well-known death threat. My thanks to Wikipedia for that information.
I'm quite certain the wild deer who frequent the "Bryan Buffet" in our front yard are unaware of the toxicity of azaleas...
Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

Oh, Lois, as soon as I saw this, without even knowing who took it, I knew it was yours. It has that special 'Lois' feel to it, and I was so pleased to see I was right. There is a joy and an abandon that you leave as your trademark. Beautiful work. Congratulations, on your feature in the Gallery Wall this month as it also honors Breast Cancer Awareness. :-) Maggie

Springtime blooms that I love .. {despite their toxicity; I've been reading up quite a lot lately on a surprisingly large number of 'common' blooms that are toxic, if we only knew ... now I will add the azalea to my list} ; this soft pastel peach is gorgeous; )))
