I received a dull black Duvet. I have been trying to get a response from Fine Art America for a replacement. of a midnight black Duvet. The on I received looked as if it had been washed with bleach. Please call (314) 740-6405. pfhoskinsharris@aol.com, I ave been told that the machinary used by some company timberland was not working. This was for my daughters dorm. I sent her address so that they could send out a replacement back on August 21st. She has not received it yet.

Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope. Survive, thrive and inspire others. Pen Sherwood offered to do this Amtor artwork for free sharing the copyright with me for my Amitor concept. Amitor Tom would be so proud. Diana Hays Kisselburg

Artist's Description

Cow in Hand was created to support my exhibitions entitled 'Food for Thought', highlighting recent bacterial outbreaks within the British food industry, casualties of which have included the lives and welfare of millions of livestock with consequential public concern forcing giant supermarkets to address the issue by associating themselves with environmentally friendly products labelled 'organic' and 'GM free'. The disease BSE took hold in Britain during the 1980's as a result of cattle being fed contaminated ground up sheep rather than their natural diet of grass and hay. Today New Variant CJD (a relative of BSE) is now killing humans. The hand in the painting gives the illusion of care, yet at the same time is constantly threatening to crush nature's fragile animal.
