Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Cowboy Silhouette was chosen for honorable mention in the Cowboys & Indians Photographing the West 2009 March issue. It also was first place professional division in a photo contest sponsored by the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in 2008.
This image was shot during the Oklahoma Centennial Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive of 2007, which covered the route just as in the 1800s, from the Red River to Kansas.
Cowboy is J Day Williams of Wakita, and his trail name was "Buckethead."

Now 10 years later, that single day and the two years it took me to edit the images and write the stories in that book, I realize it continues to impact me. It's given me a new appreciation of our country's history and what it took for our pioneers, my ancestors, to forge what we now enjoy and many times undervalue.
