Fantastic. I just recently came across the concept of 'steampunk' and find it fascinating. I saw this particular character archetype and fell in love with it. So I bought two, one for my mother, who is 84, and myself.

Cassia Beck currently lives in Brighton, England. She is a full time collage artist and photographer. The nostalgic quality of some photographs is achieved with the Through the Viewfinder technique; she shoots through the lens of an old Kodak Duaflex with a digital camera. This results in soft blurring, scratches, ghosting and lens flare. Her colourful collage pieces are all made using hand cut paper. They are inspired by old book cover designs, and mid-century advertising. Cassia's work is sold in galleries and shops worldwide and has been published in various magazines.
