Mary Cassatt is my all time favorite artist. This drawing she did of herself is absolutely amazing.
Artist's Description
Vibrant and intricate mosaic artwork depicting a Pueblo Dancer. The figure is adorned with a headdress made of fur and feathers, traditional attire and ceremonial staff. The background consists of a mosaic of warm-toned tiles in shades of orange, red and yellow. The imagery brings to mind the rugged and majestic mesas of New Mexico.
