I first picked up a camera around 60 years ago. After all these years I am finally happy, creating the images I always dreamed of. Shooting film and printing in the darkroom never gave me as much pleasure as powerful computers and Adobe's wonderful software does today. I began working with computers in the mid-1980s, and now I have become confident and competent with the tools at hand and feel that the world has finally caught up with my eclectic artistic vision. The bird is perfectly placed. The ice looks so much like water, as can often be the case, that the bird is a necessity. But you made him small enough so that he does not detract from the rest of the work. He's just completely perfect in every way for this work. And I agree, the rocks are perfect. Very fine work.

Heh, heh! Actually this is one time when I didn't place the bird, he was standing right there when I took the shot. I know this unusual for me but there it is, unless you say he's only there because I didn't remove him which would be true.
