This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Artist's Description
Copy sent to me from a couple, Jutta and Manfred Medrow, I had once sketched a decade ago in Berlin. They had seen my work recently on this website and thought perhaps I would like to include them, to help raise money for the poor through Day Star and the Pregnancy Family Center But they specified the original is not for sale because they would never part with it. Of course the prints are for sale. I had seen emulating from their souls a happiness filled with a new feeling of pride that Berlin was no longer a divided city and restoration was in full swing making it once again the Capital and a city of the arts in less than a decade after the Fall of the Wall. To me they symbolized the human triumph over despair. (triumph uber die menschliche).
