Description
The days of using a single furrow plow behind a team of massive work horses are long gone, now seen only at country fairs and 'plowing matches'. This pair of Clydesdales and the elderly farmer who is driving them, are wonderful examples of the hardy individuals who developed this land.

The light and tones are perfectly lovely on this idyllic scene - but such a lot of work it was to till a field in those days. Still, the horses, man, and plow seem one with the earth. Very nice.
