Congratulations Stuart, your suburb image is featured by USA National Parks and More. You are invited to post your featured image to the featured image discussion thread as a permanent place to continue to get exposure even after the image is no longer available on the home page. Here is a shortened link to use for placing your image into our archive: http://bit.ly/21cvPoP ... P.S. I generally dread looking at a sunrise image; they seem to always be lacking a foundational piece. Not so here! The rocky shore hosting the skeletal tree provide an anchor that makes this image sing. Your images of Acadia NP provide me with a prequel of my own scheduled trip to this wonderful park in September 2016. I do so love this piece.

Stuart Litoff replied:

Thank you, Roger! September is such a great time to be there!

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

Otter Cliffs is a headland in Acadia National Park in Maine. I was shooting the sunrise there when I notice the silhouette of this dead tree against the cloudy sky.

About Stuart Litoff

I guess I've had an off-and-on love affair with photography my whole life. My father was always taking pictures and movies when I was a kid growing up on Long Island, NY in the 1950s-60s, and he gave me my own Kodak Brownie camera when I was around 6 years old. I remember using it to take pictures of family events and a trip to Washington DC, back in 1958. I still have some of the pictures ....... somewhere. Photography moved to the back burner during high school, college, and law school, but I picked it up again after I graduated law school in 1979, moved to Washington DC, and began my legal career with the federal government. Being alone in a new city, I would take my camera wherever I went, and I was soon making my own prints in...
