Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Uyuni in Bolivia.
Just outside the city of Uyuni in Bolivia there is this cemetery of old steam engines. They were originally from the Antofagasta and Bolivian Railroad Company and mainly served the mining industry. When the mining industry collapsed they were retired to the desert where they stand preserved by the dry desert air.
I spent a couple of hours here wandering around this eerily atmospheric sight imagining the men who worked on these trains and the life they once had. Even though they stand still unmoving in the desert they are a most beautiful surreal sight and I'd loved to return to see them again.
