Medium
Painting - Oil, Ink, Acrylic, Paper, On Canvas
Description
This painting is a littler taller than 3 feet and about 18 inches wide. I started with the shark. I wanted it to emulate the james and the giant peach metal shark. In the oil painted background sulking mummies hang with deformed men and other creatures, I wanted to make the man catching the shark with his bait hand a tribute to Hemingway. His head is an elephants to represent his wisdom. The two heads on each side represent his conscience and his ego. It took a very long time to make but the wait was worth it.
