I hope there was a fence between you and this guy! He doesn't look too happy to have you near. At least there is some cactus in-between, but I'm sure if he decided to charge, a little cactus wouldn't deter him! V/F +++Blessings+++

Kelly Rader replied:

There was an old rickety fence between us and him. And this guy was huge. We are still working on some of the photos where he was throwing dirt and dust all over us. We were not there to cause him any harm . He was just one of those animals that did not like to be photographed lol

Wow... scary indeed! Years ago when my parents took us to Alaska we saw a moose on the side of the road and I wanted to get out and pet it (like I do all animals, except spiders).... I was told no.

Kelly Rader replied:

That is why he charged me I touched him lol so good thing you did not lol

Wow great shot Kelly! He means business! Big, beautiful and so majestic!

Kelly Rader replied:

Today I remembered how frightened I was a few years back while photographing a bull moose on the side of a mountain . Everything was fine as I followed the moose 2 feet from him for almost 2 hours. Then He turned on me and charged me down the side of the mountain. This long horn was about the same size as that moose . At one point while we were filming he ran his head thru a huge patch of cacti as he was stomping around like crazy. So needless to say that was the end of the filming as he comes charging at us. lol
