Hand Towel Reviews (110)

Average Rating (4.52 Stars):

Again, the artist, John Boyd, takes fabulous pictures and paints awesome items, but this towel does not look like this picture. It is basically all one color and you can’t discern what it’s supposed to be.

For a bird loving friend it’s perfect.Made her smile

December 2nd, 2018

It didn't turn out as good as I expected, although it is still very nice. I suspect it's because it is so much larger than the original painting. The colors are not nearly as bright as the painting, that is they look faded.

I would like a refund. It’s not the color as shown I wanted Dk brown as described in the picture shown.

I would love to review this purchase; however, I did not receive it. I contacted you regarding the matter but have not had the courtesy of a reply. I would really appreciate a refund as the item was returned to you before I received it.

Artist's Description

Hole-in-the-Rock Road was one of the last major roads in the continental United States to be traveled by wagon trains. Hole-in-the-Rock is a steep, rocky crevice, in southern Utah, that was blasted out with dynamite, by Mormon pioneers in 1879, to make a passageway down to the Colorado River, in an effort to colonize the San Juan Region, in the southeast corner of Utah. Once the passageway was open, 250 men, women and children along with their horses, wagons, and 1,000 head cattle, were driven down the steep 1,200 foot (375.76 m) rocky cliffs to the Colorado River.

About Sheryl Young

My interest in art began when I was young. In my early school years, my favorite part of school was "free time," when I was allowed to go to the back of the room where there stood a big easel with poster sized paper attached to it and large bottles of poster paint sitting on the shelf just below. I would open those big bottles of poster paint and just start painting. I loved to paint and I loved being creative with all the bright poster paint colors of red, yellow, and green, blue, black and white. I thought that was the greatest thing on earth, however my painting career did not go far; l was never encouraged to paint, nor did I receive too many compliments on my paintings, but that did not matter to me, because I found inner happiness...
