This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. About Gary Thomas
Gary Thomas has been an advertising illustrator in Cleveland, Ohio since 1958. He has done work for the Ohio State University, Notre Dame University, Miami University of Ohio, Sea World of Ohio & San Diego, Wilson Sporting Goods, and many other corporations. He eventually began specializing in sports art, and became the dominant artist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame when it opened in 1963. Before the Hall changed its format in 2013, he had drawn 171 of the 273 action illustrations that accompanied the busts of the enshrined players. In 1983 he was commissioned to create 12 murals depicting "The 12 Great Moments in Bowling" for the newly built Bowling Hall of Fame in St. Louis, MO. In 1985 he began painting inductees in the U.S....
