Nice & Congrats on your sale :)

Wonderful work!

Very nice!

Beautifully done- I was glad to see you included the 22 hours it took to complete. As a fellow artist, ppl can’t believe the time that goes in to doing a piece of completed art work. Congrats, you managed to envoke a feeling surmountable to life in the service.

Peter Piatt replied:

Thank you Judy for your comment, oh so true about the time spent. I'm using colored pencils these days and they take 3x as much time on some drawings. The candy jars I had to restart 3 times and took around 130 hrs to get it done right.

Amazing artwork! Looks great

Congratulatios!

Thank you to the purchaser from Columbus, GA. I hope you enjoy this for years to come.

What an emotional piece of artwork, excellent artwork too!

Thank you to the person from Oostende, Westvlaanderen - Belgium for your recent greeting card purchase.

Great work capturing the emotion. Also like how you have done the background shape. Hope you get some more sales.

Thank you Steven. Surely one of my strongest and meaningful pieces I've done. To bad only two sales of it since it was first posted. All Proceeds go to Wounded Worriers foundation.

This is one of the best drawings I have seen.

Awesome!! lf

Very unique piece of art. Displayed in my living room and admired. Will highly recommend.

Daughter-in-law has the shower curtain, which she loves, and thought I'd get the hand towel to go with it. Didn't give it to her. The photo shows the entire towel, not what it looks like folded. When folded you only see some of the "splatters" on the bottom. If you turn it around the zebra's head is upside down. The way it's currently being produced, it isn't a suitable image for a hand towel.

I love the design but wanted to buy a towel that actually gets used - high polyester content makes that dubious. also: I was hoping to support American Artists as well as manufacturers - this sentiment got killed by giant "MADE IN CHINA" tag. Very sad.

The towel didn’t arrived. I tried to call customer service, nobody answered. Wrote message, also no answer. Never again. Also, this is my second purchase, the first one in November also never arrived. Never never again. Like I threw $100

Artist's Description

Veterans Day was the inspiration for this piece. I wanted to do a piece that showed that America is behind our troops. This piece took over 22 hrs, using a range of pencils H6-3B and a Nero #3 charcoal pencil. The key word to this piece is Empty. All proceeds of sales of this image will be donated to US Wounded Warriors Foundation or you can donate directly to http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ Support our soldiers when and however you can.
