Thanks so much constance!! I painted this many years ago as a gift for my father-in-law. After his passing it found it's way back to me. Painting thee sailing ship was quite a challenge, especially the sails, definitely not my expertise. As far as seasickness, luckily I the rolling seas don't affect me, and yes I would love to sail the high seas if only in my imagination! 😏

As always, a very impressive painting, Deborah! These sailing vessels are so majestic. Can you imagine actually sailing on one of these in choppy waters? I know I would be seasick five minutes after getting on board. And thank you very much for your comment. I suppose crying babies are not your usual subject, but I happen to love it when they stick out those square bottom lips and start screaming. And I'm not the only one. Just look at 'crying babies' on YouTube.
