Painting - Watercolor Overlay
Description
The spirit of a hawk perches in a tree on top of an Arizona mesa. This image is a composite of two watercolor paintings. I superimposed the bird painting over the tree landscape painting, and had a difficult time deciding where to place the bird. I asked my friends for their votes, and most liked this one as opposed to the one with the bird on the lower right. I decided to show both versions.

I love this Vanishing Series and how you achieved it by Layering. So amazingly beautiful and nostalgic and other worldly, Anne! L/F

Love this watercolor with its twisted tree and the spirit of the hawk. This is pure beauty with a deep message about disappearing species that we have taken so for granted. Wonderful as always, Anne!

Revisiting this beautiful painting.. I was curious about the "How" on the hawk. What a creative idea about capturing the viewer's imagination. Well done.
