This image is only available as a LEP...it is 18x18. By itself, it is $95, but if purchased with the previous black horse (From the Place of the Sun)...the two are offered for $160, which includes shipping in the USA!

Coming from Tucson, this moody piece brings back thoughts of so much of the culture down there. Love the light on the blanket, a beautiful piece

Betty Billups

Well, I tried to answer each of the notes above...but that part on this window DOES NOT WORK...only this bottom window!?! Weird...to each of you ... thank you for the compliments...to the 2nd one above...not sure why you are referring to this piece as a "digital work"...the original was oil on canvas!

PIETY DSILVA

Wow........Gr8 work.......Betty...........!!!!!!!!!!! ............( .-)

Xueling Zou

yes, good digital work, Betty!

Xueling Zou

Wonderful painting you created, Betty! Love the color composition, so well done!

GOSH... this is for all of you, above and below! WHEN I created this piece, it came from my heart...in that "special space of love"...doesn't happen all the time...AND SORRY FOR BEING SO "LATE" in thanking all of you...but I never received a notice, til tonight, with these last 2 remarks! I do have 18x18 prints made of it (not thru FAA)...but with fade resistant inks, high quality paper...and normally they market for $95...but offer them for $82.00... think half the edition of 750 is in private collections! AGAIN...thank you all!! Betty

Betty Billups

About Acrylic Prints

Acrylic Print with Mounting Posts

Mounting Option #1

Acrylic Print with Hanging Wire

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son. It is very high quality and very moving and while it will bring up a lot of emotion, it will also bring up a lot of good feelings every time he looks at it. I know my son is going to love this!

Very nice

May 20th, 2020

Update: It shipped you guys, 34 days after it was purchased. I hope it was worth the wait because I am happy that it's moving.Update: 5/20/2020 I still have not received my 48X48 acrylic Joker print and this is the second time this week I have tried to contact fine art via email with no return of information. I am so overwhelmed with this company right now and I have been more than accommodating with time and patience. Update: 5/16/2020. Today marks one month from the purchase date and it has not shipped and it is still processing. čą║Update: 5/13/2020, A not certain woman named Judy called the manufacturer and told me that the manufacturer received a bad batch of acrylic and they were waiting for more and that she will try to get me a ship date. It would have been nice for someone at the manufacturer to let me know but hey an answer is better than no answer. If this item does not ship by the 17th I am going to have to get my money back and try to find this item elsewhere. Such a sadness. Update: Its the 5/7/20 and customer service did not reply to my 5/4 inquiry about when item will ship. On 5/16/20 it will be a month that they have not shipped my item but has had my money since the first day. Will keep you all posted on what's going on. Update: It is 5/4/20 and the order is still processing I had to contact customer service again and no answers again. I sent concerns about my item not being shipped, and the response from fine art: "wait or refund due to the pandemic, but no information about how long". First impression for a $500 purchase is disappointed. The birthday I ordered it for was 4/26 and there was an estimated ship date of 4/22. I believe that you should hold on to your money until after the pandemic, the representative said they.may not be staffed and my order may not have been started. So far not so good, but once I actually receive the product I will post date I get it and the picture quality.

Great picture of my dog. Just love it!!!

Artist Michael Jackson's work is awesome. Ansel Adams said, "You don't take a photograph, you make a photograph"! I added my tropical birds to my "tropical forest" guest bedroom and have already ordered two more photographs for my collection. It takes a lot of time to meander this fine website (use the filters) but it is well worth it!

Artist's Description

This LEP "Evening Solitude" and "Place of the Sun" can be purchased as a set for $165. The images are 18x18, editions of 750. With evening setting in, she turns and views the end of the day! The original sold back in 1979 for $3,000.00! Today, it is worth three times that!!! AND regardless of price, this has always been one of my favorite "mood" paintings! I went back to the reservation where I photographed her, to give her some gifts, in gratitude for capturing her spirit. I never found her! BUT, I did find a young girl with the same colored shawl. When I asked her mother is she knew this woman, she said no. It seems that during their ceremonial "parades", the women had a chosen color to do their shawls for any one year, thus there could be upwards of 12 or 15 families with this shawl! I have looked for her, for over 25 years, to "thank her" for her beautiful spirit!

About Betty Jean Billups

Betty Jean Billups

Capturing an inner feeling, so quickly passing, that's beyond words, almost beyond thought: the nuances that dance between a mountain & the sky that embraces her, creating a symphony that the eyes perceive, but only the soul remembers. This celebration of light upon the physical & ethereal worlds, creates a love affair for the viewer. It's this special moment that excites me, that drives me to risk failure, if I but the chance to capture a fraction of what I see, feel or know, from this wonderful experience we call "Life!!" Before 1986 the word "plein air" had not been used in the United States art field since around the 1920s. An artist from Catalina Island called me, and asked me to do ONE national advertisement, to promote a group...
