The quality of the print is very good. We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to order this for our home. Took us awhile to find a 12x24 frame but we finally installed this today. Thanks!

Artist's Description

Mt Everest, Asbjorn Lonvig, Inspired by the highest mountain in the world, Mont (or Mount) Everest in Nepal. And the wish to climb it - soon! - Might it be like seeing a Henri Matisse exhibition at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art? Seeing the great Master's colorful simplicity paper cut-outs, and letters telling the stories behind. Letters telling me, that he worked from 1941 to 1954 in exactly the same way that I do. A radical renewal that made it possible for Matisse to create what he had always struggled for: "I have needed all that time to reach the stage where I can say what I want to say."

About Asbjorn Lonvig

After having exhibited at MOMA, Museum of Modern in New York and other museums like Musée Fournaise in Paris – with Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Claude Monet - artist Asbjorn Lonvig, Denmark has decided to release this collection after 25 years of withholding - and the appellation ”vintage” might be appropriate. The works are printed serigraphicly - one color at the time. The works ar closed edition and any printing tools have been distroyed eliminating reprint. All works are thorughly numbered and signed by Asbjorn Lonvig and authesisity is certified in an 'authensity certified' label on the back of the work. Asbjorn Lonvig's works are distinguished by his consequent style Colorful Simplicity - that is simple shapes in bright colors....
