You have certainly captured the title so well. I feel so much from this painting. Excellent!!

This is my favorite piece, great job!!!!

I do so hope that her 'loss' was of the temporary nature, I remember experiencing loss in my youth and it cuts deeply. You did a beautiful job capturing the raw emotion she was feeling at the time, her eyes say it all. I hope she is happy now. Bravo.

What sad eyes she has.. flawlessly executed. And thanks so much for that great comment.. gonna frame it!

beautifully captured emotions of loss,amazing.........

I purchased this for a gift and the recipient was blown away. The artistry is alive in this bag with Frida. Perfect!

I absolutely LOVE Monica's artwork and it's extra special to be able to carry her artwork around with me wherever I go. Quality of the bag is good, too!

I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Gorgeous photo on the bag. Loved that I could adjust the photo size to suit my preference. Wanted to use for going to the health food store as I need to replace the 15 year old canvas, washable bags I have now. These will not last as long as those canvas bags. I could even deal with slight fading when I needed to wash them. These do not feel washable. Cheap mesh "fabric" on the interior will tear. Disappointed in the fabric on the inside and outside.

I was hoping for a heavyweight cotton canvas bag to use for grocery shopping; this will not be it. I wanted a bag that would be washable. This has a cheap mesh fabric on the interior that will tear in short order. The exterior is some sort of nylon or other synthetic fabric that I do not feel comfortable washing. I guess I didn't realize what kind of fabric it was made of. It is beautiful but not useful for my needs.

He passed away unexpectedly and long before his time. The world lost years of amazing work he could have completed had he not died. We are left, however, with an amazing body of work. He received his B.F.A. degree in painting in 1970 from the Minneapolis College Of Art and Design. During my time there he was privileged to study with such notables as Roberto Matta , Christo, Kurt Sonderborg , Wayne Thibaud and George Segal. He began painting at age fourteen with many paintings in collections across the country and in foreign nations as well; additionally, he worked in a variety of other...
