I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

This was a big hit as a gift. The recipients had taken a romantic picture in this locale And now they have a beautiful bag to take with them on their honeymoon.
I found these beautiful 'Fallen Stars' at the base of the Autograph Tree (Clusia-rosea) here in Hawaii. This tree has several names, but in Hawaii it is known as the Autograph Tree because autographs and other graffiti can be scratched onto the stout, long-lasting leaves. The flowers are up to 3 inches (8 cm) across and have 6 to 8 broad, rounded petals. The flowers only last for part of the day and eventually turn brown.
The flowers are followed by green to tan, fleshy, rounded, up to 3 inch (8 cm) in diameter seed capsules. As they dry, the seed capsules split open into thick, star-like segments, exposing the seeds covered with soft, red flesh. The red seeds had already been eaten, most likely by birds.
These beautiful fallen stars will continue to dry, at which time they will be mixed with colorful ornaments and displayed as a centerpiece for my Holiday dinner table.
I've lived in Hawaii since 2002, 1200 feet above sea level, on the small rural island of Moloka'i. It is very quiet here, with only about 7,400 residents. I appreciate the quiet life after spending 35 years as a commercial illustrator, senior art director and design director for major advertising agencies and design studios in Chicago, San Francisco and Palo Alto California. Since then I designed and built a house, worked in local restaurants, self-published three cookbooks, and took up photography as a hobby.
