This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

I was not impressed. The picture was not on the whole mug the way the picture shows.

Amazing Beautiful
Fan-shaped stained-glass window above the double-door entrance to the vintage Renaissance Revival-style Ant Street Inn, an historic boutique bed-and-breakfast in downtown Brenham, Texas.
Also known as the Schmid Bros. Building, the Ant Street Inn was originally a mercantile business, built in 1899-1900. The business was started in 1880 by Josef Schmid, who later was joined by his two brothers.
The Ant Street Inn is a Registered Texas Historic Landmark, according to the Texas Historical Commission. You will find a close-up shot of the medallion, including the early history of this building, in my Vintage Gallery. There is also a horizontal view of this window, along with other exterior and interior shots of the inn.
Vertical color photo shot in May 2012 in vivid color, with only minimal cleanup and enhancement. Nikon D80, Nikkor 50mm/1.8 lens, circular polarizer, ND filter. My thanks to the staff of the Ant Street Inn, who freely allowed me to take pictures...
This true aesthetic loves beautiful things, from architecture to the intricate details of flowers and plants. A native Californian who lived in Arizona before settling in Texas, I love nature, topography, and exploring small towns, looking for old buildings, unique objects, and rust. I enjoy making scenes look interesting and natural, as I saw them, and worthy of a place in your home, your office, your life. For 15 years I worked as a dental hygienist. Then I spent 25 years as an award-winning writer, graphic designer, and editorial consultant--skills I still use in this venue and in helping others with special projects. This unique background, requiring discernment and perfection, helps ensure the quality of my work. I hope you will...
