This painting is of a Bronx Firehouse located at 330 East 150th Street. It was painted back in 1989. I befriended Lt Ed Keating and his crew back in the 80s. The company is a class act. The company is a squad and responds to approximately 3, 500 runs a year which 420 are occupied building fires. The building was built at the turn of the century and the architectural facade is remarkable. It was a challenge to paint.
