Artist's Description
I went to an art festival in Cumberland, Ky. and painted this series of paintings "Festival in the City." I abstracted the shapes I saw and gave them imaginary colors. It is a watercolor and ink pen.
Even though you did not see someone build these buildings, you know logically that someone designed and constructed them. In the Bible at Hebrews 3:4 says: "Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God."
This painting has been traded to pay a bill.
About B L Qualls
My mother was an artist. Before I can barely remember she drew black lines on a paper and I colored in the spaces. So I was learning non-objective design before I knew what the word meant. I learned watercolor landscape from books while I was in high school. I was taught abstract and non-objective painting, photography, weaving and 3D design Kutztown State University. I began digital art in 2000. I do a variety of work landscape, abstract and non-objective. Every time I paint I do a whole series which are entirely different from any previous work.
