Everything's great about these Christmas cards. Beautifully printed, and the card stock perfect for writing on. Delivered within days. I'm really delighted—warm thanks to FineArtAmerica.

This was one of my favorite lab Christmas cards I have ordered from an artist. I love the sweet picture it displays of Santa and a dog. I have already heard from some friends that received it how much they like it.

I love my purchase . The quality was wonderful and it did justice to the artists beautiful work . One thing I would suggest is a choice of font for the message , unless I missed that option .

I'm thrilled with the custom greeting cards I made using my own artwork and photographs. ( I do not have an artist account .. I used the "create" link) I printed eight different cards (25 of each design for an awesome price), with short inspirational messages inside, and packaged them as sets to give as gifts. They've been received with delight and appreciation. The cards & envelopes are a very nice quality. The artwork came out great. I'm definitely going to using this service again for more cards and other products. My only "complaint" was that creating my custom order did not allow me to put my name on the back of the cards so I had some addresses labels printed with my name and just stuck those on the back.

This came exactly as described, perfect greeting card size (which is what I ordered) with a spare envelope so that I didn't have to go hunting at the store. Fantastic!

Artist's Description

"My Man Godfrey" is a delightful Depression era comedy directed by the mostly forgotten Gregory LaCava (1892-1952), who believed in largely ignoring scrips and relying on improvisation.
Godfrey, as played by William Powell (1892-1984), is a "forgotten man," who resides in the city dump. This, never been painted, structure would be palatial in his mini city of cardboard and tar paper shacks. A fire destroyed some of this multi-apartment dwelling. Condemnation and bulldozing soon followed. Powell and his co-star Carole Lombard (1908-1942) had been married for a little over two years in 1931-1933. Powell was engaged to marry Jean Harlow when she prematurely passed away in 1937 . He received his second Academy Award nomination for "My Man Godfrey." www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOkIru_OvC4&p=199F4724377AC37...

About David Lee Guss

I first became obsessed with photography and motion pictures while growing up in post WW2 Manila in the Philippine Islands in the late 1940's/early 1950's. Film noirs were a particular influence. But my first love remains the theater. I acted in numerous amateur productions from 1958 to 1978. In 1979 I earned a MA in drama from the University of Arizona; earlier getting a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, where I co-founded the first film society on campus and ran it for four years. While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
