A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!
Artist's Description
A fire at a historic warehouse type building, in winter! Ice and snow and freezing waterhoses. Glazed icy streets below. The 1904 brick building was a large, heavy, oversized piece of architecture, as evidenced by the more normal sized five-story building to the left in the painting. The Fire Department fought it with aerial hoses from a distance for fear of the building colapsing, it didn't. Cool, cool icy blues and lavenders, hot fire of orange and reds. Wonderful smoke effects at the top left, flying burning embers in the air.!! Signed, varnished, paper-dressed on the back for protection, wired for immediate hanging on arrival. The painting continues on around the sides, top and bottom, so that it doesn't need a frame, unless you want to take it to a framer and have it framed!

My name is: Bobbi Baltzer-Jacobo. I live and paint in Omaha, Nebraska. I am a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, with a B.F.A. in Art, with my thesis in Painting. I have taught Painting and Drawing for adults and childrens classes at the Omaha Parks and Recreation Centers, I have also taught for Metro Tech Community College, and the College of St. Mary's, Boystown High School, and St. Agnes Grade School.
