This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. Artist's Description
A Wonder Woman inspired totem painting from the 2015 Kentucky Derby artist Kimberly Kelly Santini. Santini builds her totems using toys from her own personal collection (which begs the question, does she work in a studio or a playroom?), adding symbolic elements that encourage the viewer to build their own story. This piece features a variety of Wonder Women figures, foil stars, a rose and magical fireflies.

First and foremost, I am a Mom. This means I have eyes in the back of my head, spot on intuition, the patience of a saint and mountains of compassion. I am also a painter. I am asked at least once a week, “why do you paint?” Despite the frequency of this question, I have yet to come up with a particularly brilliant answer.
