Fish stall in the Metropol Parasol, a public market in Seville, Andalucia, Spain. The lighting was odd, so the photos turned red, I needed to do quite a bit of processing to "get the red out."

Great design captured in the photo. It is not easy to get good photos at the market. The fish in a row really catch your attention - with an overhang!. I too liked the steely gray colors, but I also really enjoyed the gold in front and the reds. Very nice. v/fav

Thank you, Kathy. People either love or hate this photo... I think the fish with eyes are too real ;-)

Wow.. these are some awesome looking fish Mary.. very sharp teeth they have. Did you eat any of it. :-) It's a great shot and you did a great job getting the red out. ;-) fv
Mary Machare replied:
The fish in the Spanish markets are fresh off the boat... not something we see in the Midwest. And yes,, we did eat some of them. It was a treat that spoiled us because we really don't get any seafood that good here at home. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Love the steeliness and macabre feel you have captured with this Mary. It's actually quite beautiful - a tribute to your skills! f/v

One of the first things that caught my eye was the teeth of these fish. Not what one usually sees, at least not from fish I have caught. I agree with Odd, that the cooked or broiled fish fillets surely taste better than a dead fish looks! Actually your lighting turned out quite well, Mary, as even though they are not a beautiful subject, you did do great job of their detailed capture. Fave and vote
