Description
This painting is number 2 of my Ballet de Fleurs series. It is a fun piece, yet it is beautiful...playful, yet peaceful. There are many places for the viewer's eye to wander in this painting. I started it in my daughter's garden en plein air, brought it once to Lillian's Club Tuesday group, and then returned to my studio to jazz it up! There are subtle metallic silver paint lines as highlights. I showed this piece along with the other ones in the Ballet des Fleurs series at a healthcare office last winter, and the office staff said they really loved having the florals there to brighten up the place during the cold months. This would be a great addition to any contemporary collection....too late! I've decided to keep this one in my permanent collection--a canvas print is now a great option for you!
