My father owns the same truck its the same color and everything and it originally sat in grandfather's garage with a gravel driveway until we pulled it out and rescued it and this photo reminds me of that day cause the garage even looks the same too. I will eventually hang it on my wall im remodeling my living room and ima hang it on my wall when it's done to pay respect to my father who bought me my first home and someday he's leaving this truck to me to carry on its legacy.
Forest Idyl by Albin Polasek (1879 - 1965) Bronze 1903. A period of study at the American Academy in Rome helped develop Polasek's sense of style and affinity for the human figure. After his return to America in 1913, he took a job as head of the sculpture department at the Art Institute in Chicago. In 1930 he returned to the American Academy as a visiting professor where this sculpture was modeled.
