The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. This painting was done en plein air at Fountain Point Resort in Leland, Michigan. The resort was built in the 1800's and is still operational. Many cottages have been added since then. It was a great place for myself and eight fellow artists to paint and take photos in September.
About Linda Preece
Linda Preece’s interest in art came as a child after receiving a Jon Gnagy artist set for Christmas. That gift sparked her interest in art and she created her first oil painting. In high school she took art classes and joined the Art Club. After graduating from nursing school she took oil painting classes with a local artist named Linnie Ayles. After Linnie moved away Linda began painting with pastels. It wasn't long before pastel became one of her favorite mediums. Linda’s first time painting outdoors was in 2008 with the Michigan Plein Air Painters.
