Description
Do you like warm summer evenings when the moon starts to light up? Would you like to add some fresh, romantic and cozy look to your room. This painting Lunar track on the southern night. The Mediterranean Sea will accommodate your needs.
The oil painting is a combination of my memories, photo references and imaginary landscapes. It shows an early evening in a medieval village Eze, on a cactus park hill standing tall above Monaco. A magical lunar light, shimmering lightly in the warm evening Provence wind, slowly changes the
dark violet sky. A lunar path appears on the water surface, lighting up the landscape with its warm brilliance. I imagined a couple of families walking, sitting in the park, and enjoying an early evening view of the Mediterranean sea. This painting represents the past, as seen in the 1950’s fashion. The reddish clay roofs of the villages' houses are a combination of my memories of Eze and Villefranche-sur-Mer, Nice, and Antibes.
