The Pearl Harbor Attack On Workers editorial art by Ray Tapajna was first published in 1994. Not much as changed. Back then, Senator Dole, Representative Newt Gingrich and even Rush Limbaugh joined hands with President Clinton in the passing of NAFTA and GATT free trade agreements betraying American workers and The American Dream. History will show that it was a Democrat President and a Democrat controlled Congress that passed the bills joining hands with many Republicans. Both major parties act as one when it comes to free trade. In 2001, Ray added President Bush who joined the attack. In 2008, President Obama was added when he backed the process even though he had to bail out the free trade economic process. Trillions of dollars in bail out money was poured into the economy to save it. Not even President Roosevelt during the Great Depression dared such a radical move. Now future generations of workers have to pay for the economic collapse. The trade deficit having broken records since 1994, represents trillions of dollars in value lost forever. The Free Trade Trap is still in place as our economies based on making money on money instead of making things are burning out. Free trade remains the major cause of our economic crisis.
