Weather conditions are a constant topic of conversation among the skiers at Blue Knob Ski Resort in Claysburg, PA, as I'm sure it is at most ski resorts. As beautiful as a hint of fog is to the eye, it spells trouble to the snow lovers. Fog eats snow. But the lacy effect of snow and frost on the bare branches of the trees with a hint of ground fog beneath, all softly glowing from the light of the giant lamps used to light the slopes, creates a subtly beautiful scene.
