Description
Billups was commissioned years ago by the U.S. Army to do a painting of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. She hired a Native American friend, to model for her, and her baby, and did a photo session. All of the mothers and babies in this series were created from this photo shoot......
This painting comes with a FREE 8x10 frame and FREE shipping in the USA.
This was created in oils on a fine porcelain created by the Coors Corporation which also created the extremely large tiles that NASA uses on the outside of the Space Shuttle, for heat protection. These small, fine quality porcelains, however, were used for circuit boards for computers, but are no longer made.
There is no one else in the country that is creating images of this caliper using this porcelain. Back in 1982, it took hours of red tape to finally get a good supply. What she has in stock will be the end of these creations, thus making them an excellent investment!
