This is painting that I created in my study of Georgia O'Keeffe's work. She had really mastered the color red. If you add any white it turns pink. All reds are straight out of the tube. Amazing how many shades of red are available.

I create art with emotional and spiritual meaning by painting the things that most connect me to the world. My subject matter, primarily the earth and man's mark upon it, are my way of sharing the incredible beauty of our planet and how we relate to it.
