Artist's Description
This sculpture is based on a Best steam tractor used mostly for logging back in the early 1900's. The trees and wood are made with Sculpey polymer clay, the background is foamboard, the base is wood, the rivets were made with T-shirt paint and it was painted using acrylics. Halloween is my favorite holiday!
About Stuart Swartz
I work in a wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and computer graphics. I grew up drawing cartoons and building model cars, tanks and planes so naturally this interest has had a big influence upon my artwork. I am especailly interested in antique machinery and vehicles of all kinds.
