The Life's work of Julie Von Knorr Wedekind (Aunt Jula) contains over 30,000 photographs. Spanning 51 years from 1917 – 1968 her work artistically portrays life in Germany, with an emphasis in Bavaria where she lived. Her diverse subjects include traditional celebrations, religious ceremonies, regional agriculture, and bustling market places, to name only a few. After being lost from the public for nearly 40 years this important vast collection is being preserved, archived, and presented.
