Oiyee - thank you so muchy for enjoying one of my "antiques"! Grandma was very special to me and when mom gave me her chocolate set, I was over the moon. I looked at your site again and the Great Wall and Dragonfly paintings are favs. :D Lovely. Again, thank you for taking the time to give me such a lovely comment.

So delicate and dainty! Beautiful painting!

Byron - thank you so much for enjoying Grandma's Chocolate Set. I was adopted and Grandma always treated me with so much love and kindness. She took me everywhere with her on long walks, even as a toddler. This chocolate set has always had a special place in my heart. Again, thank you for your lovely comment, vote and fav. ps - your site is absolutely gorgeous. :D

Delightful! : ) vf!

Bryon - I just came from your site and it's exquisite! Thank you so very much for enjoying Grandma's Chocolate Set. I appreciate the v/f also! :D

Kume - thank you so very much for your compliment. It's greatly appreciated, especially as I've seen your gallery. Lovely. Thank you again.

Jane, I love to do still life. Just have either sold or given most away. lmao There were a lot of details in the chocolate set, but the flowers are just fun ones. Not meant to look real. Grandma was really cool. Even won baking contests for her German pastry. I still have a recipe which is so old, you measure the liquid with half an eggshell. I always do it that way too! And it works. num num

Sorry Antonia I'm so late. Some days the puter works, and others it doesn't. Grrrr Anyway, thank you for your comment. :D

A lovely tribute to some yummy memories! I find still life paintings to always be more challenging than they look. Do more!

Alanna, thank-you for sharing!!! : }}

Antonia, I hope you are swimming with something friendly in that photo! lol I just wanted to tell you how very much I appreciate your comments on Grandma's Chocolate Set. Mom knew I had always wanted it. Grandma used to walk with me to the grocery store from the time I was 3, always holding her hand. It was a long walk and I cherish those memories! Wonderful still-life of flowers. It brings back fond memories of my mom's fave China.

Chrisann, as always I can count on you to brighten up my day. Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I think Grandma would have liked it. I originally gave it to mom for her to keep. Then inherited it back. :D Thank you again. :)
