Ditto the review for the Penguins towel!

We are extremely pleased! The artwork was exactly what we were looking for and the towel quality is superior. Great birthday gift for my son who couldn’t have been more excited upon opening the gift! This is my second time purchasing from you and I will continue to do so, as well as spread the word. Keep up the great work!!

Pen Sherwood's Amitors artwork goes anywhere with Diana Kisselburg's words! Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope. Survive, thrive and inspire others. Pen Sherwood offered to do this Amtor artwork for free sharing the copyright with me for my Amitor concept. Amitor Tom would be so proud. Diana Hays Kisselburg

Artist's Description

The elegant Great Egret is a dazzling sight in many a North American wetland. Slightly smaller and more svelte than a Great Blue Heron, these are still large birds with impressive wingspans. They hunt in classic heron fashion, standing immobile or wading through wetlands to capture fish with a deadly jab of their yellow bill. Great Egrets were hunted nearly to extinction for their plumes in the late nineteenth century, sparking conservation movements and some of the first laws to protect birds. Great Egrets wade in shallow water (both fresh and salt) to hunt fish, frogs, and other small aquatic animals. They typically stand still and watch for unsuspecting prey to pass by. Then, with startling speed, the egrets strike with a jab of their long neck and bill.

About Scott Pellegrin

I have loved making photographs since I got my first camera as a young boy. My hope is that my work evokes feeling and a sense of place and that someone will feel drawn to a print as I was first drawn to it when attempting to capture that moment. Note: Watermarks do not appear on sold items. Please follow us on Facebook and Twitter @SPellegrinPhoto. Thank you for looking.
