This image was captured by us on February 05, 2019 while we visited the bird roofery located on the Alligator Farm in St. Alligator, Florida.
We used a Nikon D850 camera along with a 300mm PF F4 lens boosted with a 1.4 extender.
The title was easy for us, especially me (Bill) as it reminded me of a very special song I have loved for many, many years. The song I am referring to is "When Will I See You Again" by The Three Degrees released in 1974. That song is one of my all-time favorites and always bring goosebumps on my arms when I hear it,...

Beautiful capture!

Watching the birds (any and all) perform this yearly ritual is such a wonderful experience. Loved your narrative re: the tenderness and devotion they exhibit to each other as they court, mate, prepare the nesting site and rear their offspring. Just a beautiful moments to witness! Lovely capture and processing, Bill & Deb. L/tw

An outstanding behavioral capture of this pair going about their nest building activities, Bill and Deb! Your timing was excellent in capturing their "loving" pose, and the delicate detail that you captured of the birds in their breeding plumage is superb! L/F
